Our trash is picked up curbside each Monday. Two 60-gallon barrels of trash are allowed to be placed curbside for pickup.
We also have a contract with the Newmarket Transfer Station, located on 345 Ash Swamp Road, for items not included in our trash pick-up arrangements.
Newmarket Transfer Station
Hours of Operation:
Saturdays: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Wednesdays: 8:00am – 2pm (winter hours, beginning October 1, 2020) and 12pm – 6pm (summer hours, beginning April 1, 2020)
Closed Holidays
Note: Fees do apply and no cash is accepted. CHECKS ONLY.
Brush with a maximum diameter of 5 inches and leaves will be accepted at no cost. Brush larger than 5 inches in diameter, logs and stumps with NOT be accepted at the Transfer Station.

Recycling
Beginning January 8, 2024 we will be recycling every other week.
Not Accepted: Plastic bags, window glass, mirrors, light bulbs, dishes, pyrex, ceramics, paper towels, facial tissue, styrofoam, recyclables containing food waste, paints, oils, hazardous, material, needles, syringes, VCR tapes, CDs/DVDs, scrap metal, pots and pans.
Newfields does not recycle glass and we only accept #1 and #2 plastics.
