The Newfields Police Department serves a population of approximately 1,769 residents (2020 census), covering an area of 7.3 square miles in the beautiful Seacoast area of New Hampshire. The Newfields Police Department exists to serve and protect all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness, and with compassion, without prejudice. We do this to ensure a safe, healthy environment in which to reside, work, and enjoy life.
Emergency Services
When fully staffed, the Newfields Police Department has a total of four full-time officers and four to six part-time officers serving the community. The Newfields Police Department is led by Chief Wayne Young. The Newfields Police Department is committed to protecting its citizens and the public.
The Newfields Fire and Rescue Department is made up of dedicated volunteers under Chief Jeff Buxton. The department is always looking to improve response time and recruit new members of the community.
It is our mission to provide the best possible services to the people that live,visit and travel through the area served by the Newfields Fire Department.
