Notice of 2026 Water Bond or Note Hearing
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Newfields Town Hall, 65 Main Street, Newfields, NH in compliance with, the provisions of the Municipal Finance Act (NHJ RSA 33:1 et seq., as amended), the Commissioners of the Newfields Village Water & Sewer District will hold a public hearing for the purpose of discussing and hearing public input for the proposed 2026 warrant article to authorize issuance of a bond or note in the sum of $2,900,000 through the State Revolving Fund loan program for the purpose of water supply, water treatment, and associated infrastructure improvements. It is anticipated that the Village District will receive up to $1,040,000 in principal forgiveness from the State Revolving Fund loan program. The remaining bond for this project will be funded by water and sewer fees.
2026 Newfields Village Water & Sewer District Operating Budget Hearing
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, immediately following the Water Bond or Note Hearing, in accordance with RSA 32:5, I, The Newfields Village Water & Sewer District Commissioners will hold a public hearing to review and hear public input on the proposed 2026 Village District’s Water and Sewer Operating Budgets and Warrant Articles.
