A note from your Police Department:

• The Police Department in conjunction with the Fire Department and the Emergency Management Department has sent out letters about a program to assist citizens in the event of a town wide emergency.  This program is called “Helpful Hands”. Membership forms were included.  This program is free and open to all residents of Newfields.

• The Town of Newfields Board of Selectmen would like to remind motorists that the winter parking restrictions are November 15, 2009-April 1, 2010.  The hours of the ban are 12:00am through 6:00am. 

• The Newfields Police Department, unfortunately can no longer trade police patches to other departments due to budgetary restraints.
